self priming gear pump, technically identical to basic model EP 400,
but equipped with electronic pump switch management based
on pressure- and flow rate (Impulse Control), pressure relief device,
and leakage protection (for details see operating advice below).
Offers high pressure performace at moderate flow rate
for fluids Hazard Class A3 with a flash point higher than 55° C
output: approx. 22 l/min. (SAE30 at free delivery)
max. pressure: approx. 16 bar, Suction head to 2,5 m
electric data: 230V, 50Hz, 5.3A, 0.75kW, IP55
threads: 3/4" (outlet) / 1" (inlet)
Operating advice:
The self-priming electric gear-wheel pumps EP 200- and EP 400-electronic are
designed to transfer and dispense oil from low to high viscosity, at moderate
or high flow rates. The high pressure output combined with an electronic pump
management through electronically controlled switch behavior makes the pumps
particularly suitable for the use with hose reels or for long promotion distances.
When the filling gun is closed (pressure builds up), the pump is safely switched
off, when the filling gun is opened (pressure decrease), the switch control
monitors the flow rate, which is influenced by viscosity, hose diameter, temperature,
and operates accordingly. The electronic switch control represents a significant
performance increase as compared to electric gear wheel pumps without this feature.
Part of the electronic pump management is a leakage protection through the limitation
of the pump`s runtime that prevents unwanted promotion. The adjustment works in
7 steps, from 2 to 25 minutes, or shut-off.
A pressure relief device (as described above - Art.-Nr. 34 336 97) is integral part
of the electronically managed EP pump.
Please consider that hose and tube diameter, changes in flow direction, promotion
distances, oil viscosity and ambient temperatures significantly determine the
system's flowrate. In case of doubt please consult with MATO.
