Operating advice:

The self-priming electric EP gear-wheel pumps are designed to transfer and dispense oil. An

integrated bypass-valve limits the max. oil pressure, the pumps are pressure-switch controlled.

When the filling gun is closed (pressure builds up), the pump switches off, when the filling

gun is opened (pressure decrease) , the pump starts to run. Additionally, the pumps come with

a pressure relief device (Art.-No. 34 336 97), which reduces oil pressure inside the system

when pumps stand idle, and allow to vent trapped air, i.e. after drum change. After operation

(end of shift) the pumps must be switched off and separated from the mains supply.

EP 200-DS and EP 400-DS are suitable for use with engine, gear and hydraulic oils from low to

high viscosity. The achievable pressure rate of 16 bar allows their use with hose reels and/or

set-ups of long oil promotion distances.

Please consider that hose and tube diameter, changes in flow direction , promotion distances,

oil viscosity and ambient temperatures significantly determine the system's flowrate. In case
